Jack is an over the top, extraverted, hilarious actor from Woking. Dave was an over the top, extraverted, hilarious seals and gaskets salesman from Woking.

Dave was Jack’s dad, a Squeeze megafan, wannabe rock star with the loudest snore on record. He was also an alcoholic. Jack recons people think they know what that looks like. He wants you to know the real Dave. Four years on, Jack is ready to talk more candidly than ever about Dave’s life and death.

Still Alive Mate is a collaboration between lifelong best buds Jack Sunderland and Theo Toksvig-Stewart. It’s an exploration of addiction, legacy, and mental health, but don’t let that put you off: expect strip teases, anxious puppets, fortune tellers, surveys, songs, music, bad poetry, and any other whimsical device we can think of. A tender, farcical show about existence, memory, and grief that asks how are we really doing?
